Panthers to participate in 2015 prospects tournament

As they have for the past several years, the Panthers’ prospects will once again take part in a round-robin tournament with the Washington Capitals, Tampa Bay Lightning, and the Nashville Predators. The tournament will be hosted by the Lightning and held in Estero, Florida at Germain Arena, the home of the ECHL’s Florida Everblades, when it begins on September 12th. The Capitals will be taking the spot of the Boston Bruins whom the Panthers have faced in the past three tournaments.

Last year’s tournament was hosted by the Predators and held at the Ford Ice Center near Nashville, and the Panthers won all three games they played, outscoring their opponents 11-4. The schedule has not been made official by the Panthers, however

The Lightning announced the dates and times late June prior to the draft and the Panthers have just made things official here.
