The Panthers announced today that their training camp roster has been cut to just 31 players as we are now just over two weeks away from the start of the regular season. Read on for a full rundown of the roster moves made today.

- Jayce Hawyrluk has been sent back to his junior team, the Brandon Wheat Kings (WHL).
- Sam Brittain, Corban Knight, Jonathan Racine, Josh Brown, Kyle Rau, and Logan Shaw have been assigned to the Panthers’ AHL affiliate, The Portland Pirates
- Cameron Gaunce, Mike McKenna, Brett Olsen, and Brent Regner, and Greg McKegg have been placed on waivers. After clearing these waivers, they will be assigned to the Pirates.
The players still fighting for a roster spot include Lawson Crouse, Rocco Grimaldi, Quinton Howden, David Booth, Martin Havlat, Connor Brickley and Shane Harper up front, as well as MacKenzie Weegar, Mike Matheson, and Dylan Olsen on the back end.
