Between the Lines

The Panthers will face the Senators for the 3rd time this season and for the 2nd time in a couple of weeks on Thursday night in Ottawa. Florida enters the game riding a 10-game win streak which not only a franchise record but the longest in the league this season, while the Senators have won just 4 of their last 10 games. The Panthers defeated the Sabres on Tuesday 5-1 thanks to goals scored by Jaromir Jagr, Derek MacKenzie, Jonathan Huberdeau, Corban Knight, and an empty-netter from Brandon Pirri while Roberto Luongo made 31 saves on 32 shots for his 8th straight victory.

The Senators are coming off a 3-2 overtime win against the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday. Bobby Ryan tallied 2 goals, including the OT winner, and 1 assist while Andrew Hammond made 36 saves on 38 shots to secure the victory for Ottawa.
