Cats sign Martin Havlat to PTO

The Panthers have signed veteran forward Martin Havlat to a professional try-out contract and will be added to the team’s roster for training camp which begins next Friday, September 18th. Havlat becomes the second free agent offered a PTO by the Panthers in the past week, with the first being former Panther, David Booth. Cats on the Prowl exclusively reported earlier this week that the team would be signing a Czech forward to a PTO with Havlat, Jiri Tlusty, and Martin Erat being strong possibilities. Panthers invite David Booth to training camp

The Panthers announced late this afternoon that they’ve invited David Booth to training camp on a PTO (professional try-out).
